The Green Schools Alliance (GSA) has announced their partnership with Noveda Technologies, for providing energy and water management technology to their member schools.

According to this agreement, all GSA members will have access to water monitoring and other advanced analytics tools and conservation technologies provided by Noveda Technologies.

These technology solutions will help reduce carbon footprint in schools as well as lower operating costs. Intelligent monitoring of the consumption methods will help school authorities make aware of their students on the importance of energy conservation, explained, Margaret “Peg” Watson, president, GSA.

GSA member schools can now choose from a range of solutions from Noveda Technologies, like monitoring, energy and water reduction processes, advanced analytics and building controls.

Further, Noveda’s patented monitoring solution integrates consumption and generation data from buildings providing brilliance to take action by operators.

Govi Rao, president, CEO, Noveda Technologies, stated, “This partnership with the GSA empowers schools world-wide to lower consumption costs using analytics and data visualization. Schools can be the launching pad for the cultural transformation we need – to shift our energy and water use paradigm. We are thrilled with the idea of engaging with a wide range of student leaders in this effort.”

The GSA team is committed for Sustainability Action Plan addressing the reduction of school’s carbon emissions and resource consumption.

In a recent initiative, GSA hosted the sixth annual Student Climate and Conservation Congress along with NCTC. Students from countries like Brazil, Colombia, France, Nepal, Peru, Somalia, Singapore, Togo and Ukraine along with 40 faculty members gathered at National Conservation Training Center, Shepherdstown.
