ReneSola, a provider of solar PV technology, said its PV modules have achieved top performance ranking in a series of reliability tests conducted by PV Evolution Labs (PVEL).
For the 2014 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, the modules manufactured by the company achieved top performance ranking in four testing categories including Dynamic Mechanical Load, Damp Heat, Potential Induced Degradation, and Humidity-Freeze.
PVEL makes use of the highly accelerated life testing (HALT) for supplier-specific performance analysis and identify modules that are able to deliver sufficient energy for a project’s full-life time in all kind of climate conditions.
Around ten companies participated in the testing in different categories.
