L1PowerPost EV Charging compatibility confirmed by Nissan

Telefonix, manufacturer of the PowerPost EV charging station product line, has confirmed that their L1 PowerPost electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) has been tested at the Nissan Technical Center in Michigan.

The L1 PowerPost EVSE is fully compatible with the Nissan LEAF battery electric vehicle, according to company statement.

Nissan duplicates various charging situations and fault conditions during the testing procedure.

The L1 PowerPost EVSE was developed by Telefonix for charging in workplace and long- time parking conditions including airports, hotels and education facilities.

Bill Williams, Telefonix, commented, Nissan has confirmed that the L1 PowerPost EV charging station is compatible with the LEAF and also compliant with SAE J1772 best practice recommendations.

LEAF drivers put around 5 miles back into their battery for every hour they are plugged into the L1 PowerPost electric vehicle charging station as this low current charging reduce energy costs.
