The Volvo Group gets once again qualified for the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI).
The Volvo Group received a worthy rating for its work with environmental issues.
In this ranking, the world’s 3,000 largest companies are evaluated on the basis of strategies, implementation and results accomplished in areas such as business ethics, environmental consideration and social criteria.
Among the top 300 companies included in the list, Volvo found its place. The Volvo has been recognized for the climate strategy, an integral part of its vision of leading sustainable transport solutions.
Other highlighted areas are the clear direction and focus for guiding corporate citizenship programs and the dedication to innovation for products as well as processes.

The Dow Jones Sustainability Index ranks the world’s prime companies in terms of their sustainability efforts.
The annual review is based on study of the business ethics adapted by companies and environmental achievements which impact the long-term financial performance.
The review focuses on areas such as corporate governance, risk management, brand management, climate issues, supplier and customer relations and the work environment.
