Canadian Solar to supply 1.5 MW modules for a Jordan University

Canadian Solar has been awarded a module supply agreement to provide 1.5 MW of PV modules to Kawar Energy for a rooftop solar power project for a university in Amman, Jordan.

These modules will be for a largest solar power rooftop project in Jordan. Canadian Solar modules are a perfect fit for project needs with its quality and performance as well as its track record of success deliveries worldwide, said, Hanna Zaghloul, CEO, Kawar Energy.

Canadian Solar will supply 72 cell CS6X300P modules with power output respectively of 300Wp to this project.

In a recent development, Canadian Solar has supplied Conti / SunDurance with 11 MW of solar modules during the second quarter of 2014.

Canadian Solar has delivered a total of 37,202 pieces of CS6X solar modules in 6 x 12 cell matrix with UL 1000V certificate.
