Power Clouds win the solar awards 2014

Power Clouds has been honored with the Business Project Development award given by the solar Industry for the year 2014.

The company has a proven track record in project management with around 53,000 participants in more than 110 countries and 15 shared power plants estimated at a total value of $60 million.

Other key players in the industry including Panasonic, PERC Production, LG Electronics, SolarEdge Technology and Rexel have been awarded prizes for their contribution in photovoltaic systems innovation.

These awards have been created to recognize the whole value chain and those people, products and services that will develop innovative manufacturing and product approaches that have the potential to change the way of life, said, Jackie Cannon, award manager, Solar Energy.

Few weeks ago, Power Clouds presented the fourth and the fifth solar plants in Nucet, Romania, marking a strategic cooperation between Power Clouds and the local institutions.

The Business Project Development plan predicts that the output from the 15 shared solar power plants is estimated to be around 555 million KWh.

A carbon reduction elimination of over 270.000 tons, equivalent to planting 7 million new trees has been expected from the project.
