Kandi’s new EV model Cyclone to be launched by year end

Kandi Technologies announced that its new pure electric vehicle model KD17 Cyclone, jointly developed by Kandi and Geely has passed the evaluation done by the executive team of Kandi Group.

Cyclone is a five-door, four-seat vehicle and utilizes newly developed triple element non-polymer battery and central control system featuring touch screen and conventional buttons.

It achieved multiple domestic automobile golden standards and is under scrutiny of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to be released at the end of 2014 right now.

Kandi Technologies located in Jinhua, is involved in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of various vehicles. Kandi is a reputed manufacturing brand of pure electric vehicle products, Go-Kart vehicles, three-wheel motorcycles and utility vehicles among others in China.

Recently, the Kandi-brand SMA7001BEV pure electric vehicle passed the Nanjing local inspection for the licensed plate at the end of September.

Both Kandi’s SMA7000BEV and SMA7001BEV models are eligible to receive not only the national government subsidy of RMB 47,500.00 (Approximately USD 7,738.00), but also the local government subsidy of RMB 47,500.00 (Approximately USD 7,738.00) from Jiangsu provincial government and Nanjing municipal government combined.

In addition, Kandi is the first EV group in China to announce an EV car share program.
