Steinel (UK) is introducing moisture-proof RS PRO 5800 LED light system with sensor control options, designed especially for washrooms, warehouses, car parks and corridors.

The exclusive features offered by this particular light system are working in wet conditions, 360° sensor options detecting movement through glass activating light when needed and remote group functioning system.

Built from impact-resistant plastic, this dust-tight LED is protected against jets of water.

This unique feature makes it suitable for corridors and stairwells as well as for spaces exposed to moisture, such as WC facilities, warehouses and multi-story car parks.

The LED can also be fitted in cold rooms as it operates under-20° temperature too.

The LEDs come with a 5 year warranty and the intelligent sensor control option enhances energy savings of the light.

The 5.8 GHz high-frequency sensor-light system responds to the tiniest movement irrespective of temperature, instantly turning the lights on when needed.

The 360° sensor can reach up to 8m, with an ability to detect movement through glass, wood and stud walls.

In addition, the integrated swarm function helps the automatic movement of the light in any direction.

The sensor automatically switches the lights off on sunny days.

The Remote Group Setting function enabled with the RC 10 remote control ensures that the settings made on just one luminaire are relayed to all the other lights.

A new addition to the RS PRO range, the 5800 LED generates a bright, white spread of light (4600lm) from a 40W system.

The LED offers a low-maintenance, low-energy proposition with a long lifespan of 50,000 hours.

The dimming options to a basic light level of 10–50 percent are available in addition to time delay options. The selectable basic light level of 10-50 percent is automatically synchronized among the lights.

Another additional feature is DALI interconnection capacity, for full compatibility enabling integration with KNX and other building management systems.
