KEC International bags orders worth Rs.1,412 crores

Mumbai, Dec 31 Power infrastructure developer KEC International Wednesday said it has recently bagged global orders amounting to Rs.1,412 crore in its transmission, distribution and cables business.

In India, the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company will be executing turnkey orders from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation, which accounts for the highest order valuation, Sterlite Power Grid Ventures, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited.

KEC_InternationalIn Africa, the company has secured orders amounting to Rs.83 crore while SAE Towers, the wholly owned subsidiary of the company has secured orders for the supply of lattice towers, monopoles, hardware and EPC works from the US, Brazil, Mexico and Chile. The total value of these orders is Rs.213 crore.

“The company has secured orders for the supply of power and telecom cables. The total value of these orders is Rs.284 crore,” the company said in a statement.

KEC is a flagship company of the RPG Group, which has a global presence in the sphere of power transmission, power systems, cables, railways and other verticals.
