The E130 FOCUS AL was one of the first residential meters to provide voltage information that sold 14 million units.
In 2007, the company introduced E350 FOCUS AX-SD with integrated service switch and this model has sold more than 17 million units.
FOCUS meters offer a single solution to manage demand, time of use, load profile and reactive power.

In addition, utilities use this functionality for billing and distribution management in power quality monitoring and load management programs.
Besides, these meters are equipped with a cam activated service switch and 8 channels of load profile data.
The company has shipped majority of the meters to various utilities in North America and other ANSI meter markets.
The features and data available for FOCUS AX were of better quality compared to other commercial meters and the company constantly kept improving the design based on customer feedback and requests, claims the officials.
In another development, Landis+Gyr has entered into an agreement with Dong Energy for a Meter Data Management System which will be integrated into the utility’s existing IT architecture.
Dong Energy is planning to replace its entire metering infrastructure in the residential sector.
