Car Charging Group expands its EV charging services to St. Jorge Winery in Northern California

By Greentech Lead America: Car Charging Group, a provider
of convenient electric vehicle charging services, has opened its electric
vehicle (EV) charging station at St. Jorge Winery in Northern California. Car
Charging Group installs Coulomb Technologies fast EV charging stations.

“St. Jorge Winery has embraced the opportunity to
provide convenient EV services for their guests. The ubiquity of EV refueling
stations is growing and expanding into diverse areas, making EV drivers more
comfortable driving longer distances while maintaining an eco-mindful
lifestyle,” said Michael D. Farkas, chief executive officer of Car Charging
Group.

Coulomb Technologies’ EV charging stations is known as
Level II. They provide 240 volts with 32 amps of power to quickly recharge EV
batteries. The EV charging stations utilize the standard SAE J1772 connector
widely adopted by nearly all automobile manufacturers. The EV charging stations
allow users to have access to the ChargePoint Network,
the largest global online network connecting EV drivers to charging stations.

“While we are an old world winery that follows
Portuguese family traditions, we also realize the importance of providing our
customers with the latest amenities and services. More and more of our visitors
are arriving in EVs and we are excited to work with Car Charging to offer EV
charging services at our winery,” said Vern Vierra, owner of St. Jorge
Winery.

EV drivers can easily register and create a Car Charging
account online, and attach a small card to their keychain to initiate use and
payment at any intelligent Car Charging station. The Car Charging keychain card
also allows drivers to use charging locations on the ChargePoint Network.

Walgreens in pact with Car Charging to expand EV charging
services to 13 locations

Recently, Walgreens and Car Charging Group expanded EV
charging services to 13 Walgreens locations in Orlando and Tampa/St.
Petersburg, Fla. The deployment of EV charging stations in communities along
major commuter routes helps eliminate range anxiety and helps foster the EV
revolution.
