Palace of Auburn Hills lit up with Musco LEDs

The Palace of Auburn Hills has installed advanced LED lighting system provided by Musco Lighting with an aim to enhance the fan experience at iconic NBA view.

The venue is famous for NBA’s Detroit Pistons, providing innovative sports entertainment.

These LED light source are custom designed to meet the unique needs of players, spectators and television broadcasts, said, Jeff Rogers, vice president, Developmental Sales, Musco Lighting.

The Musco firm has optimized their LED lighting system at The Palace with an aim to provide an aesthetically pleasing environment that minimizes glare in the eyes of players and fans watching around the world.

Moreover, Musco’s advanced optics with pinpoint lighting control helps to reduce glare for high quality light during HD broadcasts, providing a theater-like experience for spectators in the arena.

In addition, the energy consumption is reduced by 77 percent compared to the previous lights.

The instant on/off/dimming controls of the LED system help to further conserve energy and allow for special effects.

Further, Musco’s system for lighting includes optimized structural, electrical, and lighting components that provide better performance.

The maintenance is also negligible backed with Musco’s comprehensive 10-year warranty.

Earlier, Musco has provided innovative LED lighting solutions at Wells Fargo Center, home of the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Texans’ NRG Stadium, Twickenham Stadium, world’s largest rugby venue, Denver Broncos Field House, and the East Span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

Opened in 1988, the arena is recognized for conducting sports and entertainment arenas in the NBA.
