Computex 2014: Delta Electronics launches Smart Home

Delta Electronics, a three decade old company into power and thermal management solution, launched its ‘Smart Home’ at Computex Taipei 2014.

Smart Homes is a comprehensive energy management technology for buildings and consumer products, and offers convenient lifestyle that protects the bio-diversity by reducing carbon emissions.

In a statement, Ping Cheng, CEO, Delta, said, “Our headquarters in Taipei leveraged these energy efficient solutions to be become the first building in Taiwan to obtain a diamond level green building certification through a comprehensive retrofit project that delivered energy savings of up to 50 percent in 2013.”

The company is showcasing energy-efficient residential ventilation fan VFB series and products that empower the growing cloud computing trend. They include remote monitoring solution for data centers and its 4G LTE Small Cell, said Shan-Shan Guo, chief brand officer of Delta.

Considering the growing trend in electric vehicle, the company has also come up with a residential EV charger.

Delta contributes to the market with its renewable energy solutions, energy monitoring systems, automation solutions for HVAC systems, energy regeneration technology for elevators, datacenter infrastructure solutions, EV charging stations, smart LED lighting solutions and other platforms for industrial, commercial and residential applications.
