Delta products and solutions contribute for 9.1 billion KWH of electricity savings in 3 years

Greentech Lead Europe: Delta Group, a provider of power management and thermal solutions, announced that Delta’s high-efficiency products and solutions have contributed to a total savings of 9.1 billion KWH of electricity and a reduction of carbon emissions by 4.9 Million tons of CO2e from 2010 to 2012.

Energy savings from Delta’s worldwide green building offices are as high as 10 million KWH per year, among which its latest LEED-certified technology center in Taoyuan, Taiwan reports an annual savings of 53 percent in energy with Delta’s building energy management solutions. As Delta consistently moves towards system integration for industries, its 2012 global revenues reached US$ 7,101 million.

Yancey Hai, chairman of Delta Electronics, said, “With a promise of ‘Smarter. Greener. Together.’, Delta has integrated our industrial automation and energy-efficient solutions to buildings for a more intelligent and comfort environment with less energy consumption.”

According to Hai, the company’s LEED-certified green building- Taoyuan Technology Center has saved 53 percent in energy compared to same-size office buildings under same climate conditions. The significant result is contributed by system integration of Delta’s energy-efficient solutions, including HVAC solutions of 52 percent energy saving, elevator solutions of 52 percent energy saving, LED lighting of 50 percent energy saving, and more.”

Delta has been providing energy saving solutions to data centers in Russia and Poland, telecom power systems to major carriers in Europe, India, and Africa, EV charging solutions for highway infrastructure in Norway, process automation of water treatment in Greece, as well as building energy management for a fashion chain store in Spain.
