DuPont brings solar energy products to Shanghai expo

DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions (DuPont) has brought its bouquet of products for solar energy systems to the SNEC Photovoltaic (PV) Power Expo at Shanghai in China.

The products, including advanced materials designed to improve power output, reliability and return on investment (RoI), will be on show at the expo which is on till April 30.

Two new DuPont Solamet photovoltaic metallization pastes for high-efficiency solar cells will be on show at the DuPont booth (W4-555). The company will also feature collaborations with key customers at its outlet.

Besides its display of products, DuPont is also participating in 14 leadership and technical forums. The company will be sharing insights on the market, technology and the future of the solar energy industry at these forums, according to a statement.

The other DuPont products to be featured at the booth include: Solamet PV19x frontside silver pastes and Solamet PV76x pastes for advanced PERC solar cell architectures;

high-efficiency solar panels based on the latest advances in Solamet pastes, including Yingli PANDA, Solartech Sapphire, and Jinko Eagle panels;

DuPont Tedlar polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) backsheet material which protects solar panels for more than 30 years in extreme conditions;

panels from the DuPont field testing program.

Among the leadership forums at SNEC featuring DuPont representatives are: Solar Leaders Dialogue, Global PV Financial Summit 2015, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Dialogue, and OFweek Solar PV Summit 2015

DuPont will also be showcasing its improved accelerated test methods for PV module service life prediction and electrically conductive adhesives for PV applications at the expo.
