Adani Green Energy Limited has won the bid for a 50 megawatt solar power project in Uttar Pradesh.
The project was included in a tariff-based auction of renewable energy projects conducted by Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (NEDA) under its Solar Energy Policy 2013.
Apart from Adani, Essel Infraprojects have also won bids for setting up a 50 megawatt unit.
