JinkoSolar Holding has donated 57 kilowatts (kW) to Everybody Solar, a U.S. non-profit organization working to provide solar to local charities.

Everybody Solar will receive 212 of PV modules from JinkoSolar to provide solar energy systems to 3 non-profits in the U.S.: the Committee on the Shelterless (COTS) in Petaluma, California, the Sciencenter, in Ithaca, New York, and a third yet to be announced.

JinkoSolar PV modules will assist Everybody Solar to build a 27 kW system for COTS, saving over $7,000 per year in electricity bills, money COTS can use for other purposes.

The Sciencenter, which welcomes over 100,000 visitors each year, will utilize JinkoSolar PV modules to power new exhibits to show sustainable practices in the daily lives of visitors.

“JinkoSolar is proud to support Everybody Solar with its philanthropic projects, and we are delighted to learn that our panels will be used to power three causes,” said Nigel Cockroft, general manager of JinkoSolar (U.S.).
