Sungrow, manufacturers of PV inverters, announced they have quadrupled their Australian residential PV inverter shipments in 2015, reaching approximately 50 megawatts.

Sungrow had the largest market share of all Chinese inverter manufacturers in Australia.

The Crystal Series, unveiled in February 2015, and SH5K, a hybrid storage system released in October 2015, have been popular among residential users in Australia.

Currently, Sungrow has shipped over 100 megawatts of residential PV inverters to Australia.

“We will keep focusing on the residential solar market in Australia and enlarge the investment in commercial projects in 2016,” said Renxian Cao, president of Sungrow. “The solar market in Australia is expected to be stable and we will offer better products, solutions and services to local customers.”
