Yingli Green to supply 66 MW PV modules for four UK projects

Yingli Solar has announced its partnership with renewable energy developer Push Energy to supply their multi-cyrstalline modules for four PV power plants in the UK.

Together, these four sites will generate electricity capacity of 66 MW annually.

All the projects located in East Anglia are expected to be completed by February 2015.

Push Energy has adopted a policy of working with landowners, local stakeholders, planners and the power networks to supply renewable, green power into the grid for local use.

The company, with a vision for farming and conservation approach approves sites with minimum visual impact and appropriate landscaping.

Solar PV farms play an important role in the U.K.’s long-term energy security. Yingli Green has provided support and practical advice which will help in completing all projects to a very tight time schedule, said, Jason Wallis, finance director, Push Energy.

This partnership with Push Energy for Europe’s promising solar market to date is hopeful. Yingli is committed to working with companies with a solid project pipeline such as Push Energy. It also supports the long-term commitment to the U.K. market where a sustainable growth potential is seen in coming years, said, Liansheng Miao, chairman, CEO, Yingli Green Energy.
