Gamesa secures 50 MW wind energy deal from Atria Power

Gamesa India has procured a new 50 MW wind power project with Atria Power to be commissioned in Kukru wind farm, Madhya Pradesh by 31 March 2016.

The 50 MW project in Kukru is the second order the company has signed with Atria Power with the last one being a 50 MW order foreseeing commissioning in the state of Tamil Nadu.

As per the new order, Gamesa will handle the supply, erection and commissioning of 25 units of G97-2.0 MW T104 wind turbines specially designed for low wind sites in India.

This project is a part of Gamesa India’s consolidated order book for the fourth quarter of 2015 and forms part of 130MW order book which was recently announced globally.
