PUES International to ship electric vehicles components from June

Greentech Lead Asia: PUES International, a provider of
technical consulting and parts for electric vehicle development, will start
shipping samples of an integral component for electric vehicles – PUES VCU – to
auto manufacturers from June 2012.

The PUES VCU controls an aggregate of electric vehicle
equipment such as air compressors, water pumps and other auxiliary parts from
major components such as the drive motor, drive battery and battery charger.

PUES International said after processing the information obtained from various
sensors, it outputs command signals to each component in order to control the
entire vehicle. It also incorporates various fail-safes and energy management
features.

Because components are controlled collectively, minimized
development time for adding or changing components, and improved development
efficiency can be expected. This vehicle system has excellent scalability and
future potential.

PUES International is part of Tokyo R&D, which has
been researching and developing electric vehicles for approximately 30 years.
PUES was established in Hong Kong in 2010 to leverage the vehicle development
technology of Tokyo R&D and the electric vehicle parts development
technology of PUES International Ltd. for use in the Chinese domestic electric
vehicle market. PUES has received funding from Mitsui Global Investment.
