Greentech Lead America: Solar energy lease provider
American Solar Direct (ASD) has opened its new regional office and regional
warehouse in the greater San Diego area.
The San Diego location follows last month’s opening of an
American Solar Direct office in Northern California.
The new locations allow American Solar Direct to meet the
solar needs of homeowners in San Diego County from Oceanside and Escondido
right through to the southern U.S. border.
American Solar Direct
expects to continue to recruit, hire and train additional employees and
consultants to meet the region’s growing demand. San Diego is California’s top
solar city, according to an Environment California report issued in January.
In San Diego and across California, homeowners are
selecting solar power due to its accessibility and affordability;
straight-forward and inexpensive leasing options; and continued government
support through rebates and other financial incentives. These factors have
increased the adoption of solar power in California dramatically.
“Tens of thousands of California homeowners are
realizing that well-designed solar systems immediately reduce their power
costs, help the environment and add long-term value to their house. And by
leasing through American Solar Direct, many San Diego homeowners can realize
savings almost immediately and reduce their dependence on utility provided
power,” said Brennan Mulcahy, CEO of American Solar Direct.
The company’s growth in California reflects that more
homeowners are recognizing the affordability of leased solar installations, the
benefits of energy independence and the high quality customer care offered by
American Solar Direct will offer experienced and qualified
team of customer service representatives, project managers, installers and
electricians dedicated to creating energy independence to homeowners.
“It’s simple to get started with solar power now, the
American Solar Direct experience begins with a free in-home consultation, then
a custom design for your home, and finally a professional installation and our
long-term maintenance program,” said Geoff Atkins, chief marketing and strategy
