Solar3D has announced that its SUNworks Commercial Division, along with Recycling Industries (RI), is inaugurating the newly implemented 400kW solar system atop its Sacramento facility.

Recycling Industries is established in Sacramento since 1981, providing services of recycling programs.

Having a motto of “Green I$ Good”, RI with the help of SUNworks has installed the largest solar project for a recycling plant in Sacramento. SUNworks will install solar array to offset 80 percent of the power at Watt Avenue recycling facility, increasing electrical efficiency as well as reducing costs.

The company is committed to reducing waste and promoting a greener community. The solar plant offered by SUNworks was the right decision for renewable energy achievement, said, David Kuhnen, GM, Recycling Industries.
