Geolam announces the availability of wood-plastic composites in the United States

Geolam, the exclusive distributor of Geolam branded
wood-plastic composite (WPC) products in North America, announced it has
expanded its distribution network into the United States.

Geolam is an internationally recognized, premium
wood-plastic composite (WPC) based on Japan’s Einwood WPC technology. Einwood
has more than 25 years of solid performance in the commercial building products
industry.

“We want to bring a whole new level of sophistication
to the evolution of wood in the American marketplace,” said  Ron
Factor, founder, Geolam.

Geolam brand of WPC decking products can withstand diverse
climates including conditions where there is exposure to extreme heat and
sunshine, high humidity and tropical rain.

Einwood manufacturing technology removes 100 percent of the
moisture from the wood-fiber and injects plastic in the tracheids of the wood
to create a new homogenous product.

Geolam is fully recyclable and has no formaldehyde
emissions. It’s free of all solvents and chlorine and is the only wood-plastic
composite to earn the Eco-Mark certification, a prestigious international,
eco-friendly label.

“Geolam brand products grace the finest buildings in
the world, yet have been unavailable in North America. With much research,
independent third-party testing, and market analysis — we concluded there is a
strong need for WPC materials at this caliber in the U.S,” said Christian
Stephan, founder, Geolam.
