Siemens Gamesa adds more wind turbine business in Europe

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) announced that it will supply 263 MW to onshore wind projects in Sweden, Norway, Germany and Turkey.

The turbines types are within a performance range between 2.3 and 4.1 MW, Siemens Gamesa said.

Siemens Gamesa will provide 34 wind turbines with a total capacity of 137 MW to its clients Arise, Eolus and Saxovent in Northern Europe.

Siemens Gamesa will provide 37 wind turbines with a total capacity of more than 125 MW to Afken Renewable Energy in Turkey.

Siemens Gamesa has signed a deal for the supply of 20 turbines for 82 MW from Arise Windpower in Sweden.

Siemens Gamesa will install 11 wind turbines in the wind farm Brocklingberget and the balance 9 in Enviksberget. Both projects will be commissioned in autumn 2019 with a 20-year operation and maintenance service agreement.

Siemens Gamesa will provide seven turbines to Eolus Vind for a capacity of 30 MW for its Stigafjellet Wind Farm, south of Stavanger in Norway. The wind park will be commissioned in 2020 with a five-year full service agreement.

Siemens Gamesa will supply seven machines for a total capacity of more than 25 MW to the German Windpark Mautitz Sud. Siemens Gamesa will be manufacturing turbines in Denmark and the project will be commissioned in December 2018.

Siemens Gamesa will 37 wind turbines with a total capacity of more than 125 MW to Afken Renewable Energy in Turkey. Siemens Gamesa will supply 22 turbines for the Denizly wind farm and 15 for Hasanoba. The contract includes a maintenance and service agreement for 15 years.
