Wirepas has announced their collaboration with Aidon, provider of smart energy metering and smart grid solutions for daily application of internet technology in life.
Recently, Wirepas launched Pino, the only fully automatic and distributed Multi-Hop Mesh IoT network in the market.

Smart metering requires the highest level of scalability and optimization, which has been key drivers in the Pino development, stated, Teppo Hemiä, CEO, Wirepas.
Aidon has years of RF based metering experience, supplying smart metering systems in the Nordic countries. The Wirepas Pino mesh network solution integrated with Aidon’s application knowhow makes Aidon’s meters preferred by energy companies.
Through this collaboration, Aidon has won significant customers. The co-operation has already caused installation of more than 150,000 new meters enabling a more cost-effective application.
