Orange Renewable Power, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore-based AT Holdings, said on Wednesday that with the commissioning of its 120 MW wind power projects in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, it has tripled its wind power capacity.

The wind and solar company said it has commissioned 97.5 MW at its Mamatkheda site in Madhya Pradesh and 22.5 MW at Dalot and Devgarh in Rajasthan, bringing its total wind power capacity to 179 MW.

“With this commissioning, the group has joined a select group of wind IPPs (independent power producers), who have commissioned self-developed projects,” the Delhi-based company said in a statement here.

“This is a key milestone in our continued endeavour to deliver optimal energy solutions,” said Orange and Experion Group chairman Hemant Tikoo.

The company has an additional 400 MW under various stages of execution, the statement added.
