Diversified CPC buys Pure Chem Separation Furthering its Sustainable Refrigerant Recycling Business

Greentech Lead America: Diversified CPC (DCPC), a
propellant gas supplier and a subsidiary of Sumitomo, has acquired Pure Chem
Separation (PCS).

The new entity will be known as Diversified Pure Chem.

The acquisition is likely to expand DCPC’s reach into the
fluorocarbon refrigerant markets, with a focus on recycle and reuse.
Diversified Pure Chem (DPC) will develop its refrigerant recycle and
reprocessing capabilities, in support of the EPA’s intent to create sustainable
refrigerant recycling businesses.

“The acquisition will position DPC to separate large
quantities of R-22, in addition to high-pressure mixtures, like R-410a,”
said William N Auriemma, president & CEO, DCPC.

Pure Chem Separation is an EPA Certified Refrigerant
Reclaimer. PCS has grown as a carbon credit creator, with the Climate Action
Reserve in California, via the controlled destruction of ozone-depleting
refrigerants (like R-11, R-12, etc.).

Diversified CPC manufactures aerosol propellants,
specialty gases, alternative fuels, NGL refrigerants, physical foam blowing
agents, and related products available.
