NTPC, India’s largest power generator, has installed capacity of 53651 MW during fiscal 2017-18.
NTPC generated 265.80 billion units of power during fiscal 2017-18 as against 250.31 billion units in the previous year, registering an increase of 6.19 percent.
NTPC generated 68.56 billion units of power in Q4 fiscal 2017-18 against 63.77 billion units in Q4 fiscal 2016-17, registering an increase of 7.51 percent.
NTPC claims that the power generation during Q4 fiscal 2017-18 surpassed the previous highest quarterly generation of 67.78 billion units during Q3 FY 2017-18.
NTPC said coal stations achieved PLF of 77.90 percent in FY 2017-18 as against national average of 60.72 percent.
NTPC posted income of Rs 85,207.95 crore in fiscal 2017-18, registering an increase of 7.39 percent over the previous year.
NTPC’s income reached Rs 23,617.83 crore in Q4, posting an increase of 13.08 percent.
NTPC posted profit of Rs 10,343.17 crore in fiscal 2017-18 and Rs 2,925.59 crore in Q4 fiscal 2017-18.
