Canadian Solar announced its deal with ESCO Pacific’s 175MWp/133MWac Finley Solar Farm in New South Wales, Australia to provide EPC services and supply solar modules.

Canadian Solar has partnered with Signal Energy for the deal.

Canadian Solar will supply 1500V crystalline module to this large-scale solar power plant of ESCO Pacific.

Canadian Solar will install over 490,000 1500V KuMax modules (CS3U-P) on single-axis solar tracking systems.

The solar plant will be built on approximately 1,000 acres of grazing, crop and irrigated lands near Finley, New South Wales, Australia. It will produce enough electricity to meet the needs of more than 90,000 NSW homes and displacing more than 400,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

ESCO Pacific will start the construction of the project in December 2018 and will complete the project in October 2019.
