NTPC has completed the 250 MW solar power project at Suwasra in district Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
NTPC has set up this project at an investment of approx. Rs 1500 crore mainly on non-agricultural land.
NTPC said this is one of the biggest solar plants developed using domestically manufactured solar cells and modules.
The project, which has been commissioned in June 2017, is dispatching electricity for usage in Madhya Pradesh.
