GenCell Energy, a fuel cell power solution provider based in Israel, announced a partnership with Flexx to expand its manufacturing capacity.
GenCell aims to scale its manufacturing capacity to support the company’s growth strategy to replace polluting diesel generators with affordable clean energy.
Flex will start producing GenCell fuel cells at its manufacturing facility in Ofakim, Israel, while other production lines will join later. Flex will make GenCell’s backup and primary power fuel cell solutions. The company did not reveal the number of products being made at the manufacturing facility.
Rami Reshef, CEO of GenCell, said: “Our vision is to develop technology that generates clean, cost-effective and reliable power as a means to enable companies to cut their dependency on diesel generators.”
Avichai Ramot, general manager of Flex Ofakim, said: “We look for opportunities to support the development and large-scale production of clean energy solutions.”
